About the Trail

Bewdley is full of history, culture and natural beauty. It has lots of interesting places to see and visit.

We couldn't possibly put them all on a heritage trail so we chose 40 features on three routes. The routes are accessible to everyone and give a flavour of the history and heritage of the town.

We have selected five themes: People, Architecture, Industry, The River and Transport. Each feature is linked to one of our themes.

Each route starts at Bewdley Museum and these route summaries help you locate features marked on the trail.

On the route pages you can follow the arrows on the route maps and hover over the anchors to see the features.
